Norway HAARP instalation caused Blue Beam and Spiral

Posted by commendatori on December 26, 2009

AP: Nov. 9, 09 spiral light at Tromso, Norway. Following a cross-volley of interpretations of the Dec. 9, 2009 blue-green light vortex over Norway on the eve of Barack Obama’s Nobel Prize acceptance speech (Russian missile; ETs destroying Russian missile), two researchers have independently posited that HAARP, a space-based weapon of mass destruction one of whose antenna fields is close to the site of the Norwegian spiral light.

According to one of the researchers, David Wilcox (see below), one of his confidential sources stated the Norway spiral light was part of Project Blue Beam.

One of the alleged purposes of Project Blue Beam is the use of advanced electromagnetic imaging such as that produced by HAARP and exhibited in the Norway spiral light as a psychological mass conditioning device in aid of the implementation of a global corporate new world order.

If this analysis is accurate, the Norwegian light may have been a HAARP-induced effect attempting to anchor an extraterrestrial-like or “transcendent” aura around U.S. President Barack Obama’s Nobel Prize acceptance speech in Oslo the following day, Nov. 10.

EISCAT: HAARP antenna site near Tromso, Norway HAARP and the Norwegian spiral light

According to Mr. Wilcox, the Dec. 9, 09 Norway spiral light is similar to other spiral lights in Russia in 2006, and in China (first seen in April 2009) that may be attributed to the HAARP technology.

Mr. Wilcox states that the plasma effects exhibited by the Norway light were too dense to have been produced by a failed Russian missile. He reiterates that HAARP is most probably the cause of the spiral lights.

Researcher Richard Hoagland notes that “just over the hill from Tromso [where the spiral light appeared], lies a high-tech Norwegian ‘HAARP antenna farm’ — the EISCAT Ramfjordmoen facility — specifically designed to broadcast powerful beams of microwave energy high into space … thereby also creating blatant HD/torsion side-effects in the Earth’s highly-electrified upper “plasma” atmosphere (ionosphere)? The facility is officially supported by Norway, Sweden, Finland, Japan … China … the United Kingdom … and Germany.”

Although Mr. Hoagland in his analysis implies that the Norway light may have been a warning to President Barack Obama by the controllers of HAARP, the more likely scenario is that Mr. Obama now works in collaboration with the controllers of HAARP to use HAARP in the service of the implementation of a corporate new world order worldwide.

EISCAT: Norway torsion mapHAARP as a space-based weapon of mass destruction

HAARP is an exotic weapons system that is part of the weaponization of space, using “scalar wave interferometry” – a technology first discovered by scientist Nicola Tesla in the early 1900’s. Two or more longitudinal, ultra-low frequency waves are “aimed” at an intersecting point, at which time they interact in a very unique way, “tapping” into the limitless plenum of energy surrounding the planet, and weaponizing this scalar energy.

HAARP has 3 major weapons-system components:
• Space-based component: HAARP weaponizes the Earth’s Ionosphere.
• Air-based component: HAARP uses chemtrails as a frequency reflector from its ground and space base, and as a binary weapons system against the human population.
• Ground-based component: HAARP ground stations energize HAARP (Alaska; Greenland; Norway; Australia)

HAARP has numerous reported applications as a weapons system:
• SDI (Strategic Defence Initiative) Radiofrequency weapon
• Environmental warfare – Weather & earthquake warfare
• Space Warfare System
• Missile Defense System
• Scalar energy warfare against land and population targets, including cities, industrial sites, buildings, populations and individuals
• ELF weapon with electromagnetic harassment and mood manipulation of target populations and individuals.
• Biological & binary weapons against populations (with chemtrails component)
• Psyops electromagnetic imagery integrated with Project Blue Beam

HAARP is a space-based weapon of mass destruction. The death toll of two recent probable Environmental Warfare attacks by HAARP is on the scale of Hiroshima. The estimated death toll of the May 3, 2008 Weather Warfare Myanmar Cyclone is 78,000 dead + 56,000 missing as of May 29, 2008. The death toll of the May 12, 2008 Tectonic Warfare China Earthquake is 68,000 as of May 29, 2008, and expected to rise to 80,000. Official Japanese figures at the time put the Hiroshima death toll at 118661 civilians. But later estimates suggest the final toll was about 140,000.

Ex-IBM Employee reveals TV Abandoned Analog Band to Make Room for RFID Chips

Posted by commendatori on October 27, 2009

This is old news… but interesting nonethless…

According to a former 31-year IBM employee, the highly-publicized, mandatory switch from analog to digital television is mainly being done to free up analog frequencies and make room for scanners used to read implantable RFID microchips and track people and products throughout the world.

So while the American people, especially those in Texas and other busy border states, have been inundated lately with news reports advising them to hurry and get their expensive passports, “enhanced driver’s licenses,” passport cards and other “chipped” or otherwise trackable identification devices that they are being forced to own, this digital television/RFID connection has been hidden, according to Patrick Redmond.

Redmond, a Canadian, held a variety of jobs at IBM before retiring, including working in the company’s Toronto lab from 1992 to 2007, then in sales support. He has given talks, written a book and produced a DVD on the aggressive, growing use of passive, semi-passive and active RFID chips (Radio Frequency Identification Devices) implanted in new clothing, in items such as Gillette Fusion blades, and in countless other products that become one’s personal belongings. These RFID chips, many of which are as small, or smaller, than the tip of a sharp pencil, also are embedded in all new U.S. passports, some medical cards, a growing number of credit and debit cards and so on. More than two billion of them were sold in 2007.

Whether active, semi-passive or passive, these “transponder chips,” as they’re sometimes called, can be accessed or activated with “readers” that can pick up the unique signal given off by each chip and glean information from it on the identity and whereabouts of the product or person, depending on design and circumstances, as Redmond explained in a little-publicized lecture in Canada last year. AFP just obtained a DVD of his talk.

Noted “Spychips” expert, author and radio host Katherine Albrecht told AMERICAN FREE PRESS that while she’s not totally sure whether there is a rock-solid RFID-DTV link, “The purpose of the switch [to digital] was to free up bandwidth. It’s a pretty wide band, so freeing that up creates a huge swath of frequencies.”

As is generally known, the active chips have an internal power source and antenna; these particular chips emit a constant signal. “This allows the tag to send signals back to the reader, so if I have a RFID chip on me and it has a battery, I can just send a signal to a reader wherever it is,” Redmond stated in the recent lecture, given to the Catholic patriot group known as the Pilgrims of Saint Michael, which also is known for advocating social credit, a dramatic monetary reform plan to end the practice of national governments bringing money into existence by borrowing it, with interest, from private central banks. The group’s publication The Michael Journal advocates having national governments create their own money interest-free. It also covers the RFID issue.

Monarch: Mind-Control & Energy Weapons

Posted by commendatori on August 16, 2009

Amidst the subtle cerebral circumvention of the gullible populace, through a multitude of manipulated mediums, lies one of the most diabolical atrocities perpetrated upon a segment of the human race; a form of systematic mind control which has permeated every aspect of society for almost fifty years. To objectively ascertain the following, one may need to re-examine preconceived ideologies relating to the dualistic nature of mankind. http://www.aches-mc.org/monarch.html

UFO’s, the Bible and the coming great deception

Posted by commendatori on July 31, 2009

These extraterrestrial fallen angels are setting us up for the coming great deception where those people left behind when the body of Christ is caught up to be with Him in the air during the harpazo (rapture) will believe that those who have suddenly vanished were abducted by UFOs. It fits in perfectly with our popular culture’s ongoing fascination with books and movies about UFOs and extraterrestrial life and our likewise disdain for anything smacking of self righteous, judgmental or religious insincerity. People will more readily believe that millions of suddenly missing persons have been abducted by UFOs than that they are in the clouds with Jesus, especially if the skies are filled with UFOs at the time.

Many people also want to believe in an extraterrestrial savior who will come and save them from wars and plagues and global warming and mostly from themselves. Some have been told by these entities that Jesus was an extraterrestrial or a heavenly angel. That is the connection between Jesus and UFOs that is so critical to understand. The Bible says that if an angel from heaven (extraterrestrial) should preach to you a gospel contrary to that we have preached to you let them be accursed (Galatians 1:8). If these extraterrestrial, fallen angels try and tell you things that run contrary to the Bible, beware of them because they are false Christs (Matthew 24:24). This entire UFO phenomenon is about deception and misdirection and cover-up, but to a more sinister extent that most people realize including the government?

The Roman Bishop and early Christian martyr, Ignatius, said that the devil bewitches his victims before he destroys them. I believe in UFOs and extraterrestrials. I do not believe that I am either delusional or hallucinating. I believe that the government is covering up these phenomena even though they are as deceived as to its origins as are most people. I write for UFO Digest, not only because of the generosity and good will of the Publisher, Dirk Vander Ploeg, but because I share with all of you a deep yearning to understand and explain this phenomenon.

As I have written before, the Bible speaks about the interaction between extraterrestrials and earth women. The Sons of God saw the daughters of men were beautiful and took wives for themselves (Genesis 6:2). They begat children, the Nephilim, who were on the earth in those days and also afterward (Genesis 6:4). Modern day Bible scholars like W.F. Albright and F.J.Dake and John Walvoord and many others believe in the fallen angel concept. Jewish apocryphal writers of the Apocalypse of Baruch and The Testament of the Twelve Patriarchs as well as early Jewish theologians like Philo of Alexandria and early Christian theologians like Justin Martyr, Iranaeus, Tertullian, Eusebius, Ambrose and the Anti Nicene Fathers also believed that these angels (the Sons of God) had fallen into impure love of virgins and were subjugated by the flesh and begat children.

Don’t let people tell you that early Jews and Christians believed these Sons of God in Genesis to be the sons of Seth and therefore human. Josephus, the Jewish historian of 2000 years ago, wrote in his Antiquities of the Jews about these fallen angels and women. In 1947 when the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered by an Arab boy at Qumran, there appeared the Genesis Apocryphon manuscript which was written in the 2nd century BC and spoke also about celestial beings from the skies that had come to earth and mated with human females. These hybrid children were called Nephilim in Genesis 6:4 which were mistranslated by King James to mean giants. The Hebrew word derives from the root naphal which means fallen. The Greek Septuagint translation of the Old Testament called them gegenes which means earthborn and is probably where the English word giants came from.

The Bible goes on to say that these angels who did not keep their domain but abandoned their proper abode (the heavenlies), God has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day because they went after strange flesh (human) and they are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire (Jude 6-7). God did not spare these angels when they sinned but cast them into hell and committed them to the pits of darkness (Tarturus) reserved for judgment (2Peter 2:4).

That is why God brought the Flood to wipe out all vestiges of these hybrid Nephilim. Noah and his sons and their wives had preserved their pedigree and kept themselves pure in spite of the prevailing corruption brought about by the fallen angels (Oxford Companion Bible). In other words, Noah’s bloodline had remained free of genetic contamination (Genesis 6:9). Noah and his family kept the human DNA pure and preserve the coming bloodline of Jesus, while the fallen angels who had perpetrated these blasphemies and attempted to corrupt the human bloodline of Jesus were kept in eternal bondage and chains in the pits of darkness.

The Nephilim appeared again in Numbers 13:33 and that is why God told Joshua to kill all the Canaanites-men, women and children. He again wanted to keep the bloodline, the DNA, pure. Thus fallen angels must have continued for a time to breed with human females. While I do not know if there are any Nephilim present on the earth today, I believe that there are fallen angels roaming about to continue to deceive us humans.

The non canonical book of Enoch, while not a part of the Bible, is quoted verbatim in Jude 14-15 concerning the return of the Lord to execute judgment upon all. The Book of Enoch speaks of fallen angels as Watchers (as does Daniel 4:17) and says that the worst was Azazel. Azazel is the name of the fallen angel in both of my novels, The Great Harpazo Deception and Invasion: Israel.

Later and most importantly, in the three days between His crucifixion and His physical resurrection from the dead, after Christ had died for sins once and for all, for the just and the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit, Christ also went and made a proclamation to these spirits (fallen angels) now in prison who once were disobedient in the days of Noah. He proclaimed His triumph over them and over sin, death, hell, and Satan (1Peter 3:18-20). When He had disarmed the rulers (fallen angels), He made a public display of them having triumphed over them (Colossians 2:15).

This is significant because Christ told His followers that just as it happened in the days of Noah, so shall it be also when the Son of Man is revealed (returns) (Luke 17:26, 30). Today in our world, we have goings on much like there was then including a great deal of sin and debauchery and possibly chasing after strange flesh by fallen angels (extraterrestrials). Look at all the immorality like pedophilia and child abductions as well as all of the UFO sightings, alien abductions and the cases of alien human hybrid experiments, and you will see a return to the days of Noah when the Sons of God (fallen angel extraterrestrials) mated with the daughters of men. You will know that the Lord is about to reappear very soon and take His own to be with Him in the clouds while all hell breaks loose here on earth. The sudden disappearance of millions will be explained as abduction by UFOs. We have been conditioned, programmed if you will, to believe such lies by the great Deceiver himself, Satan and his minions of fallen angels (extraterrestrials).

This is also important because demons (fallen angels) tremble at the name of Jesus (James 2:19). God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above all names (Philippians 2:9). At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow of those on the earth (us) and those under the earth (fallen angels) and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10). Next time you are confronted by an extraterrestrial (”alien”) who is trying to abduct you just call out the name of Jesus and it will leave. I did it when I was confronted by demons who wanted to harm me and it worked. The name of Jesus is a powerful name above all other names.

In conclusion, all that I am trying to say is that this UFO phenomenon is real and is an important part of the end time’s fulfillment of Scripture. Do not be deceived by these cunning fallen angels who would love nothing more than to lead you smiling to the pits of hell with them.
………
He loves everyone so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for everyone’s sins and give everyone who believes eternal life (John 3:16). He wants everyone’s eyes opened to the ultimate spirituality of this UFO phenomenon and for everyone to realize that Jesus is their Savior not some extraterrestrial, fallen angel, antichrist, demon. “We struggle not against flesh and blood (extraterrestrial aliens) but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (extraterrestrial fallen angels)” (Ephesians 6:12).

Remember, that “Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of good things” (Romans 10:13-15).

More Evidence that Mandatory HD TV Conversion is a Set Up for Mind Control Psychotronics

Posted by commendatori on April 27, 2009

A. True Ott PhD
January 26, 2009

To begin with, take 10 minutes and watch this 60 Minutes Video:
Leslie Stahl makes some very interesting comments on the morality and ethics of mind-control.
Here are mine:
1. The technology called FMRI (Functional Magnetic Resonance) is OLD and ARCHAIC actually. Mengele and others were “reading” brain waves via magnetic resonance graphing in the early 70’s. Boston-Logan Airport is already using NEW light-wave beams to scan AND READ air traveler’s INTENTIONS before they board the planes.
2. The GERMAN individual Stahl interviewed was very HESITANT TO REVEAL exactly WHO HAD THE MIND-READING TECHNOLOGY TODAY. Again, just look at the U.S. PATENTS issued in the last decade to realize the height and breadth of the mind-control explosion – and keep in mind that patents are usually applied for AFTER the technology has been proven to be commercially viable via working models. —.
3. The FMRI “computer” that “reads the mind” is just one side of the coin. IT IS MUCH, MUCH EASIER TO PRODUCE EMOTIONS AND IMPULSES INTO the brain than to actually READ the brain via computer programs.
4. This technology needs much more bandwidth space than is currently provided by ANALOG SIGNALS in order to be implemented. Thus the need to switch to DIGITAL SIGNALS EXCLUSIVELY.
5. THIS TECHNOLOGY, IN THE WRONG HANDS, IS A BIGGER THREAT TO INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM THAN ANY STANDING ARMY.
6. IS HOMELAND SECURITY THE “WRONG HANDS”?? Why is this just now beginning to be reported by such news programs as “60 Minutes”?
Read this patent abstract, and then read my expose on DIGITAL TV once again in the context of Stahl’s report.

TITLE: Nervous System Manipulation by EM Fields from Monitors

Issued to: Loos, Hendricus

Abstract: Physiological effects have been observed in a human subject in response to stimulation of the skin with weak electromagnetic fields that are pulsed with certain frequencies near 1/2 Hz or 2.4 Hz, such as to excite a sensory resonance. Many computer monitors and HD TV screens, when displaying pulsed images, emit pulsed electromagnetic fields of sufficient amplitudes to cause such excitation. It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or DIGITAL TV set. For the latter, the image pulsing may be embedded in the program material, or it may be overlaid by modulating a video stream, either as an RF signal or as a video signal. The image displayed on a computer monitor may be pulsed effectively by a simple computer program. For certain monitors, pulsed electromagnetic fields capable of exciting sensory resonances in nearby subjects may be generated even as the displayed images are pulsed with subliminal intensity.

Also please read a piece of the article “Digital TV: Mind Control by the Sound of Silence” posted on Feb 16 (After the bailout was revealed):

This technology is about to be used, albeit in a more subtle fashion, against American citizens in a highly classified and covert operation to mind control and manipulate the entire population into ‘compliance’ with our New World order overlords. The technology will utilize a combination of HAARP transmitters, GWEN towers, microwave cell phone towers, and the soon-to-be-mandatory High Definition Digital TV that will enter your home via: a) cable, b) satellite, c) HD TVs, or d) those oh-so-easy-to-obtain “digital converter boxes” that the government is so anxious to help you obtain and underwrite most of the cost on your behalf.

But why is the government so anxious to help American citizens experience a clearer and more highly defined television picture? Does that make sense to you? Since when is the government so concerned about the visual quality of our televised entertainment that congress would pass an undebated statutory proclamation which mandated that the HD conversion take place on Feb. 17, 2009 and and then subsidze about 90% of the associated cost?

I’m only guessing, but if there are 200 million “regular” televisions in America to be converted into HD, then that $40 in government subsidy per TV x 200,000,000 = $8 billion. Why is the government so anxious to spend 8 billion dollars on her citizens to improve the clarity of a TV picture? Or is the recently touted “additional bandwidth” cover story that supposedly is to be gained with the HD technology the only and genuine reason for spending so much taxpayer dollars on HD conversion?

The second service that this author performs is to “out” two of our more deceptive CIA/Pentagon ‘assets’ masquerading under the rubric of natural health advocates. Their names are Rima Laibow and her husband, “former” Major General Albert Stubblebine. If your e-mail Inbox has been filling with warnings and articles in recent months about the coming Codex regulations and the “wonderful” job that Rima and her retired Army husband have been doing to try and stem the tide, then you know who I’m talking about.

Inventor turns cardboard boxes into eco-friendly oven

Posted by commendatori on April 9, 2009

artbohmerWhen Jon Bohmer sat down with his two little girls for a simple project they could work on together, he didn’t realize they’d hit upon a solution to one of the world’s biggest problems for just $5: A solar-powered oven.

The ingeniously simple design uses two cardboard boxes, one inside the other, and an acrylic cover that lets in the sun’s rays and traps them.

Black paint on the inner box, and silver foil on the outer one, help concentrate the heat. The trapped rays make the inside hot enough to cook casseroles, bake bread and boil water.

What the box also does is eliminate the need in developing countries for rural residents to cut down trees for firewood. About 3 billion people around the world do so, adding to deforestation and, in turn, global warming.

By allowing users to boil water, the simple device could also potentially save the millions of children who die from drinking unclean water.

Bohmer’s invention on Thursday won the FT Climate Change Challenge, which sought to find and publicize the most innovative and practical solution to climate change.

“A lot of scientists are working on ways to send people to Mars. I was looking for something a little more grassroots, a little simpler,” Bohmer said Thursday.

Bohmer, a Norwegian-born entrepreneur based in Kenya, said he also had been looking at solutions “way too complex, for way too long.”

“This took me about a weekend, and it worked on the first try,” Bohmer said. “It’s mind-boggling how simple it is.”

The contest was organized by the Forum for the Future — a sustainable development charity — and the Financial Times newspaper. Among the judges were British business magnate Richard Branson and environmentalist Rajendra Pachauri. The public also voted on the finalists.

Bohmer’s invention beat about 300 other entries, including a machine that turns wood and other organic material into charcoal, wheel covers that make trucks more fuel efficient by reducing drag, and a feed supplement for livestock that reduces the methane they emit by 15 percent.kyoto_box

Bohmer named his invention the Kyoto Box, after the international environmental treaty to reduce global warming.

The box can be produced in existing cardboard factories. It has gone into production in a factory in Nairobi, Kenya, that can churn out about 2.5 million boxes a month.

Bohmer has also designed a more durable version, made from recycled plastic, which can be produced just as cheaply.

He envisions such cardboard ovens being distributed throughout rural Africa.

“In the West, we cook with electricity, so it’s easy to ignore this problem,” he said. “But half the world’s population is still living in a stone age. The only way for them to cook is to make a fire.

“I don’t want to see another 80-year-old woman carrying 20 kilos of firewood on her back. Maybe we don’t have to.”

Cheap Hydrogen from Scraps

Posted by commendatori on February 23, 2009

Turning organic waste into hydrogen now works without expensive platinum.

It sounds almost too good to be true: add a few bugs to food scraps and waste water to generate clean hydrogen fuel. But over the past few years, researchers have been gradually working toward this promising scheme for producing hydrogen.hydrogensteelbrush1

Now, with the help of an unassuming stainless-steel brush, microbial electrolysis cells (MECs) have taken another step forward. The steel brush can be used to replace the expensive platinum normally employed as the electrolysis cell’s cathode, slashing costs by more than 80 percent.

Hydrogen is an appealing, environmentally friendly fuel because burning it creates only water as a waste product. MECs harness the electrons produced by certain bacteria as those bacteria feed on biodegradable material. The bacteria sit on an electrode–the anode–as they metabolize organic matter in an oxygen-devoid chamber. Not being able to react with oxygen, the electrons travel from the anode to the counter-electrode–the cathode–where they combine with protons to form hydrogen.

In late 2007, a team led by Bruce Logan, Kappe professor of environmental engineering at Pennsylvania State University, showed that they could improve the efficiency of this process: by adding a small jolt of electricity (0.25 volts) at the cathode. Until now, however, the researchers have relied on a platinum catalyst on the cathode to make the process fast enough.

“The need to use a precious metal catalyst had been holding back further development of the technique, but now we have found a way to do it without platinum,” says Logan.

Compared with platinum, which acts as an effective catalyst when applied in a thin layer to a flat piece of carbon cloth, a simple piece of stainless steel is two-thirds less effective. But when Logan’s team increased the surface area of the stainless-steel cathode by arranging the material in the form of a high-density bristle brush, hydrogen production rates increased to values that matched or even exceeded those of the platinum cathode. While the platinum cathode costs around 15 cents, the stainless-steel brush only set the researchers back 3 cents.

Logan hopes that further modifying the chemistry of the brush will improve the results even more. “We now already know more about which types of stainless steel work best,” he says. “And we will also want to minimize hydrogen bubbles being trapped between the bristles because this can make recovery of the gas less efficient.”

He also emphasizes that high surface area is not everything. A brush made from carbon with an even higher surface area did 14 times worse than the naked steel-brush core, and when the researchers cut the steel brush in half to allow closer spacing of the two electrodes, they got even better results than with the full brush, even though they lost half of the surface area.

Lars Angenent, an associate professor of biological and environmental engineering at Cornell University, says that big challenges remain, and he argues that the effect of electrode spacing is going to be one of the biggest limitations of MEC technology. “I think this work is great, but the next question is, can you scale it up so it’s economical?” he says. “In a larger system, moving ions through liquid between cathode and anode is more difficult, so you will produce less hydrogen per unit volume.”

Patrick Hallenbeck, a professor of bacteriology at the University of Montreal, in Canada, agrees with Angenent that scaling will be a challenge. However, he is optimistic that with the platinum limitation gone, the outlook for MECs is good: “By showing that platinum can be effectively replaced by stainless steel, Logan’s group have removed a critical barrier. These devices were first described only four years ago, and there has been tremendous progress since then. Further developments may very well move MEC devices into the realm of practical application.”

Digital TV: Mind Control by the Sound of Silence

Posted by commendatori on February 16, 2009

Note: The digital conversion has been “delayed” until the arbitrary date of June 12th
Expect for the date to continue to be delayed, the arbitrary setting of a final date is a scare tactic to get people to comply. Make no mistake, the threat of people NOT having television, as this article talks about, is too great for the powers that be to risk. – IL

This is an extremely timely and important essay. It overviews a secret Pentagon psychotronics technology known as Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS) that has been fully operational since the early 1990s. I first found out about the use of this technology from Al Bielek in a 1992 video he made with Vladimir Terziski. This technology was used against battle-hardened Iraqi troops fortified in deep underground bunkers in Kuwait and Iraq in the first Gulf War in January of 1991.

The physical, emotional, and psychological effects of this technology were so severe that hundreds of thousands of Iraqi troops surrended en masse without firing even a single shot against US led coalition forces. The numbers reported in the news were staggering: 75,000 and then annother 125,000 (or more) Iraqi troops would come out of their deep desert bunkers waving white flags and falling to their knees before approaching US troops and literally kiss their captor’s boots or hands if given the opportunity.

Why would eight year veterans of Middle Eastern warfare (with Iran 1980-1988) behave this way? Simple. They were subjected to a technology that was so extreme and incomprehensible that they were suddenly reduced to the level of compliant children and felt grateful to still be alive in the wake of their mind-wrenching experience.

Death Ray Replaced By The Voice of God

December 17, 2007: While U.S. efforts to deploy it’s microwave Active Denial System (which transmits a searchlight sized bean of energy when makes people downrange feel like their skin is on fire) continue to be delayed, another non-lethal system, LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device) has been quietly deployed to Iraq. And there the story gets a little strange.

LRAD is basically a focused beam of sound. Originally, it was designed to emit a very loud sound. Anyone whose head was touched by this beam, heard a painfully loud sound. Anyone standing next to them heard nothing. But those hit by the beam promptly fled, or fell to the ground in pain. Permanent hearing loss is possible if the beam is kept on a person for several seconds, but given the effect the sound usually has on people (they move, quickly), it is unlikely to happen. LRAD works. It was recently used off Somalia, by a cruise ship, to repel pirates. Some U.S. Navy ships also carry it, but not just to repel attacking suicide bombers, or whatever. No, the system was sold to the navy for a much gentler application. LRAD can also broadcast speech for up to 300 meters. The navy planned to use LRAD to warn ships to get out of the way. This was needed in places like the crowded coastal waters of the northern Persian Gulf, where the navy patrols. Many small fishing and cargo boats ply these waters, and it’s often hard to get the attention of the crews. With LRAD, you just aim it at a member of the crew, and have an interpreter “speak” to the sailor. It was noted that the guy on the receiving end was sometimes terrified, even after he realized it was that large American destroyer that was talking to him. This apparently gave the army guys some ideas, for there are now rumors in Iraq of a devilish American weapon that makes people believe they are hearing voices in their heads.

Mini Nuclear Power Plants Could Power 20,000 Homes

Posted by commendatori on November 13, 2008

Underground nuclear power plants no bigger than a hot tub may soon provide electricity for communities around the world. Measuring about 1.5 meters across, the mini reactors can each power about 20,000 homes.

hyperionnuclThe small energy modules were originally designed by Otis “Pete” Peterson and other scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. Now, the technology is being commercially developed by Hyperion Power Generation, which recently announced that it has taken its first orders and plans to start mass production within five years.

“Our goal is to generate electricity for 10 cents a watt anywhere in the world,” said John Deal, CEO of Hyperion. “[The nuclear plants] will cost approximately $25 million each. For a community with 10,000 households, that is a very affordable $2,500 per home.”

Because of their small size, the mini power plants can be assembled relatively quickly and transported by truck, rail or ship to remote locations, even places that currently do not have electricity. The power plants provide an alternative to current nuclear plants, which are large, expensive, and take about 10 years to build. Also, large-scale power plants don´t fit the needs of small populations or areas without available land. Hyperion´s modules can be connected together to provide energy for larger populations, as well. Read the rest of this entry »

3D Display Offers Glimpse of Future Media

Posted by commendatori on November 10, 2008

The 3D objects in the display box may at first look like a product of smoke-and-mirrors trickery. That impression would be about half right, as a rapidly spinning mirror is one important component of the display.

3ddisplay

But the overall 3D display system, developed by researchers at the Graphics Lab at the University of Southern California, is real technology that could one day transform visual entertainment.

The 3D display can project both virtual as well as real images from a recorded movie. The researchers, Professor Paul Debevec and his colleagues, hope that the display´s advantages will overcome many of the challenges faced by 3D technology. For instance, their 3D display is autosterescopic, meaning viewers don´t need to wear special viewing glasses to see the 3D effects. The display is also omnidirectional, so that multiple viewers can watch the display from all directions and heights.

To achieve the high quality, the researchers modified a video projector to project images at more than 4,000 frames per second. Also, the display is interactive, as demonstrated in this video showing a user controlling the 3D human head with a remote control. It can update content at 200 Hz, or 200 times per second.

The video projector projects high-speed video onto the rapidly spinning mirror, and the projector and mirror are synchronized so that, as the mirror turns, it reflects a different image to viewers in all directions.

As the mirror rotates up to 20 times per second, a viewer´s vision creates the illusion of a floating object at the center of the mirror. The image is enclosed in a glass box, to protect anything (such as a hand) from touching the spinning mirrors.

“While flat electronic displays represent a majority of user experiences, it is important to realize that flat surfaces represent only a small portion of our physical world,” the team explains on its Web site. “Our real world is made of objects, in all their three-dimensional glory. The next generation of displays will begin to represent the physical world around us, but this progression will not succeed unless it is completely invisible to the user: no special glasses, no fuzzy pictures, and no small viewing zones.”

The Graphics Lab has also been involved with creating films, computer animations, and other graphics projects.

Kites could provide electricity for 100,000 homes

Posted by commendatori on August 10, 2008

High-flying kites tethered to generators could supply as much as 100 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 100,000 homes, according to researchers from the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands.

The scientists have recently demonstrated that flying a single 10-square-meter kite could produce 10 kilowatts of power, which could supply electricity for about 10 homes.

In their next experiment, the researchers plan to test a 50-kilowatt version, called Laddermill. Eventually, their goal is to build a multi-kite system that could generate a full 100 megawatts.

As project leader and professor of sustainable engineering Wubbo Ockels explains, kites generate power by pulling on their strings that are attached to generators on the ground. After reaching their maximum height, the kites are reeled back down to repeat the process.

Electricity produced by kites in the wind could be inexpensive, too. The researchers predict prices to be comparable with generating electricity using coal power, and half that of using wind turbines.

One advantage of kites is their potential height. Commercial windmills generally reach heights of around 80 meters, where the average wind speed is about 5 meters per second. At higher altitudes, such as 800 meters, the average wind speed is about 7 meters per second. Because the amount of power available from the wind is related to the cube of its speed, blades at higher altitudes could generate up to five times the amount of electricity as at lower altitudes. High-altitude wind is also generally more reliable than ground-level wind.

While building an 800-meter-tall windmill would be impractical, a kite can easily reach that height, and take advantage of the higher wind speeds. The Dutch scientists note that a high-speed jet stream makes countries such as the UK, The Netherlands, Ireland, and Denmark especially good locations for kites.

Using computer models, researchers can determine how to configure kites so that they get the most out of the wind. Ockels´ system used figure-eight flying patterns developed by Allister Furey of the University of Sussex, an arrangement that increases the speed of the air flowing over the kites. He´s also investigating a yo-yo configuration, where one kites goes up as another falls from the sky like a glider.

“Pretty much anywhere in the UK you could run a kite plant economically, but you couldn´t run a wind turbine economically,” said Furey.

Several other scientists are investigating the use of kites to harness energy from the wind – which some researchers estimate provides more than 100 times the amount required to power the entire planet. In 2007, Google´s philanthropic arm invested about $10 million in a US kite company called Makani. An Italian company called Kitegen has a multi-kite scheme that could generate a gigawatt of power, as much as a standard coal plant.

106 mpg ‘air car’ creates buzz, questions

Posted by commendatori on August 8, 2008

(CNN) — You’ve heard of hybrids, electric cars and vehicles that can run on vegetable oil. But of all the contenders in the quest to produce the ultimate fuel-efficient car, this could be the first one to let you say, “Fill it up with air.”

hat’s the idea behind the compressed air car, a vehicle its backers say could achieve a fuel economy of 106 miles per gallon.

Plenty of skepticism exists, but with many Americans trying to escape sticker shock at the gas pump, the concept is generating buzz.

The technology has been the focus of MDI, a European company founded in 1991 by a French inventor and former race car engineer.

New York-based Zero Pollution Motors is the first firm to obtain a license from MDI to produce the cars in the United States, pledging to deliver the first models in 2010 at a price tag of less than $18,000.

The concept is similar to how a locomotive works, except that compressed air — not steam — moves the engine’s pistons, said Shiva Vencat, vice president of MDI and CEO of Zero Pollution Motors.

Gas still plays a role

The six-seater planned for the U.S. market would be able to reach speeds of more than 90 mph and have a range of more than 800 miles thanks to a dual energy engine, Vencat said.

The design calls for one or more tanks of compressed air under the car’s floor, as well as a separate tank holding at least 8 gallons of fuel.

Whether the engine uses just air or both air and fuel would depend on how fast the car is going. It would run purely on compressed air when driven at speeds less than 35 mph, Vencat said.

Since the car could only go a short distance when using just air, fuel is needed to get the full range, he explained.

“Above 35 mph, there is an external combustion system which is basically a heater that uses a little bit of gasoline or biofuel or ethanol or vegetable oil that will heat the air,” Vencat said.

“Heating the air increases its volume, and by increasing its volume it increases [the car’s] range. That’s why with one gallon of gasoline or its equivalent we are able to make over 100 mpg.”

Vencat said an on-board compressor would refill the air tank while the car is running, or owners could refill it by plugging it into a power outlet for four hours.

Is it for real?

Experts aren’t sure Americans will be zipping around in air cars and getting 106 mpg, or more than twice the fuel economy of hybrid-electric vehicles such as the Toyota Prius.

It is possible to power a car with compressed air, but the mileage claim is “at the edge of possibility,” said John Callister, director of the Harvey Kinzelberg Entrepreneurship in Engineering program at Cornell University’s College of Engineering.

Dutch town tests ‘air-purifying’ concrete

Posted by commendatori on August 7, 2008

Experts from the University of Twente developed and tested the concrete paving stones which contain a titanium dioxide-based additive.

In laboratory conditions, the additive — under the influence of sunlight — binds the nitrogen oxide particles emitted by car exhausts and turns them into harmless nitrates.

“With one rain shower everything is washed clean,” the institution said in a statement.

Nitrogen oxides, produced by industry and motor vehicles, are among the main air pollutants that lead to acid rain and smog.

Developed from a Japanese invention, the bricks are now being put to the test in Hengelo in the eastern Dutch province of Overijssel.

One half of a road under reconstruction is being paved with the new, green bricks, and the other half with the ordinary variety.

“By measuring the air quality in both areas, we will be able to show the efficacy of the bricks,” said the statement.

Apart for their ability to clean the air and repel dirt from the road surface, there was no other difference between these new bricks and the old ones, the university said.

“The province of Overijssel sees an opportunity in these bricks to improve air quality,” it added. “This trial project is of great significance for the entire country.”

The road was expected to be finished by year-end.

The first air measurements will be taken early next year, with the first results expected next summer.

A Cleaner, Cheaper Route to Titanium

Posted by commendatori on August 2, 2008

An MIT startup is hoping to make titanium much more affordable. The benefit: lighter, more fuel-efficient planes.

Titanium is as strong as steel, but weighs only about 60 percent as much. It’s also highly resistant to corrosion, and handles temperature extremes well. So, not surprisingly, the aerospace industry wants to use much more of it in the next generation of planes, making them lighter and reducing fuel costs.

But there’s a hitch: at around $40 per pound today, titanium is expensive — and the price keeps going up.

Now a startup, Avanti Metal, using technology developed at MIT, hopes to commercialize a process that drastically reduces the cost of producing titanium, making more of it available for large, lighter-weight airplanes. The process, developed by MIT chemist Donald Sadoway, applies an environmentally benign, direct electrolysis method to make the metal.

Titanium is naturally abundant. But processing titanium oxide found in the ground to make a usable metal is slow and produces toxic waste. “The price of titanium has gone through the roof,” says Corby Anderson, director of the Center for Advanced Mineral and Metallurgical Processing at the University of Montana. “It’s double what it was this time last year — and last year it was pretty high.”

Jeffrey Sabados, president of the four-person Avanti, estimates that, based on production plans published by Boeing and Airbus, there’ll be a 30,000-ton shortage of titanium by 2010. He claims that Avanti’s process for refining titanium could slash costs to about $3 per pound. Then, if the metal then sells for even $25 per pound, an estimate he calls conservative, it’s a huge potential profit.

Since the early 1950s, titanium has been produced through the Kroll process. Manufacturers first make titanium chloride, which gets processed into titanium tetrachloride, and then mixed with magnesium, which draws out the titanium and produces chlorine gas. The result is a porous material, contaminated with magnesium salts, which requires further processing to remove the salts and make it usable for manufacturing. The process is so toxic that it’s difficult to get the permits needed to build a new plant in order to expand production.

Sadoway says their process is much greener. They mix titanium oxide with other oxides, such as magnesium oxide or calcium oxide; then they heat the mixture to about 1,700 degrees Celsius. This produces a bath of molten oxides, through which an electric current can be run. The electricity produces electrolysis, breaking the bond between the titanium and oxygen atoms, and the heavier titanium sinks. The result is a pool of liquid titanium at the bottom and oxygen bubbling out the top. The other molten oxides remain in place, acting as the electrolyte when more titanium oxide is added. “You just keep making more and more and more metal,” Sadoway says.

So far, though, Sadoway and colleagues have made only a few grams with an experimental reactor cell. It’s hard for the small, ceramic device to sustain the high temperature needed. Avanti is hoping to raise enough money from investors to build a larger prototype to actually produce a pool of liquid titanium. Sadoway hopes to begin putting together a team of scientists by August and to build working titanium smelters by August 2008.

Nabil Elkouh, president of Erigo Technologies, a consulting firm that puts together deals between researchers and investors, and who’s an advisor to Avanti, cautions that their projection of producing titanium at one-tenth of the current cost, may be optimistic at this point. “They may have something great, but it may take four years,” he says. “It may not ever be one-tenth the cost — but what if it were half the cost? That’d still be great.”

Anderson says plenty of people, from university researchers to companies like DuPont, are working on better ways to produce titanium. He hopes to visit MIT this summer to look at Sadoway’s process and see how well it works.

Nearly Waterless Washing Machine to Debut in 2009

Posted by commendatori on August 2, 2008

A new washing machine that uses just a cup of water, a pinch of detergent, and about 1,000 small plastic chips to clean clothes may be available for consumers in the UK next year.

Researchers at Leeds University designed the machine, which will be marketed by a spin-off company called Xeros Ltd (which means “dry” in Greek). Company founder Stephen Burkinshaw, a professor of textile chemistry, explains that the machine will reduce both water and energy consumption.

Currently, washing machine use accounts for 13 percent of daily household water consumption in the UK, or about 21 liters (5.5 gallons) of water per day, according to the UK organization Waterwise. Besides saving water, the Xeros machine uses just 2% of the energy of a conventional washing machine. And since clothes come out nearly dry, they don´t require the use of a dryer.

“We have shown that it can remove all sorts of everyday stains, including coffee and lipstick, while using a tiny fraction of the water used by conventional washing machines,” Burkinshaw said.

When doing a load of wash, users throw their clothes in like a normal washing machine. Then a cartridge in the back of the machine adds plastic chips – about 45 pounds (20 kg) of them – to the load. Next, a cup of water containing the detergent is added. After the water dissolves the dirt, the chips absorb the water, without the need for a rinse or spin cycle. When finished, a grill at the bottom of the machine opens to collect the chips.

According to Xeros, the chips can last for about 100 loads of laundry, or about six months for an average family. The company has not yet provided details on what the chips are made of, or how easily and safely the chips can be disposed of or recycled.

Working with Leeds University´s commercialization partner IP Group, Xeros has secured an investment of almost 500,000 pounds ($984,400) for the project. The price of the Xeros washing machines for consumers is “not expected to be dramatically different from (conventional) washing machines,” according to the company.
